Once Flickering Treasures was wrapped up, a fresh challenge emerged. What to do with all the fascinating recollections, images, and historic tidbits that couldn’t be included in the book, due to space limitations? There is so much more to share! Happily, these gems, collected during nine years of research, will be showcased here. New finds — since my appetite for this topic did not abate when the book was published — will also find a home in the Outtakes blog. I look forward to an ongoing conversation with readers about all of our city’s movie theaters.
